Nasty Squirrels

On MLK Day, we all had the day off so we headed down to El Dorado Park to feed the ducks. There were also squirrels around who were obviously accustomed to people. We gave the kids a snack, but after a few minutes Jonathan came over and said, "the squirrel took my granola bar". Somehow, we have trouble picturing a squirrel wrestling a granola bar away from a five-year-old, but I suppose these things can happen. I've included a picture of the squirrel up a tree enjoying his conquest.

Busy Saturday

We started the day with Emma playing point guard at her basketball game. Later, we went and watched the Calvin versus Hope game in Long Beach. A busy, but very fun day.

So much talent...

I would be remiss if I didn't include this picture from Christmas of Aunty Tracy, Emma, & Jonathan lip-syncing to James Brown. It's the spatulas that make it truly effective.

A little fun in Bellevue

Jonathan enjoys a little ice skating in the park where Mom and Dad got engaged.

The Farming Game

A trip to Seattle is not complete without a little farming. No hay allowed.

Too much time on their hands...

Maybe Emma and Tracy shouldn't hang out...

Still more Christmas...

We took a little drive up to Snoqualmie for some sledding. It did start pouring rain when we arrived, but it was still a great time and it made the hot ski lodge pizza all the better.

More Christmas...

Stockings...stockings...and more stockings.

Family

We spent 9 great days in Seattle over Christmas and New Years. Here is a pic of the whole family after dinner at Tracy's house.
